Full day Cerro Guido
Our ride is designed for riders with or without previous experience, who want to experience Patagonia on horseback and discover the natural beauty offered by the surroundings of the ranch, with its spectacular views of Lake Sarmiento, Sierra Baguales and the Paine Massif, surrounded by life animals such as guanacos, rheas, foxes, horses and sheep.
We start in our mangers where our team of guides will give you a brief safety talk and all the necessary equipment before starting the excursion.
To finish the excursion we will take you to know in depth the history
local. Our guided tour is an invitation to discover an authentic Patagonian ranch, with its typical architectural style and its 100-year-old original hulls, representative of the cultural heritage of Patagonia.
In Cerro Guido we also perpetuate the traditions that define the essence of Patagonia: visiting our ranch is a privileged opportunity to learn about the daily life of our people dedicated to field work and sheep farming, who maintained their traditional way of living and to work.
Our visit begins in the hall of the administration house, with a half-hour introduction to locate ourselves on the map of the area and understand ranch life within the historical context of Patagonia, strongly linked to the development of extensive sheep farming.
